Competition Work
A competition for the design of the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art (MOCCA).
Creating shifting interior volumes to house varying programs within the building allowed for the exterior facade. Inspired by the iconic text and action bubble found in most comics, the exterior facade gives a strong character to the building while controlling natural daylighting within.
